*No updates this week or next week; want to focus on FF16 Topic

**Listern Announcement: Kevin matusik/Todd optional - cnc router + q&a  (I would REALLY like to discuss this, but it might be too much for this podcast?  Are we doing another podcast prior to FTFF and, if so, let’s invite them on to talk about what they are offering.  Heck, I want them to cut a plane for me! - Patrick)**

Show Topic:

Rules, Safety and Set-up FF16

  • Build Tent etiquette

  • Flight line etiquette

  • What to do if there is a medical issue

  • What to do upon arrival.

    • Be sure to mention that site access is from the East end of the property, not through the Furey’s driveway.  (Andre - will there be volunteers stationed at the end of the driveway to redirect folks?)

  • What info will be needed at registration?

  • How many pilots have registered? How many spectators? As compared to last year.

  • How do folks sign up for the workshops?

  • Do you have any numbers on registrants for the Build Series events so far? Including our Build Nites?

  • What vendors have committed to date?

  • What are on site food options?

  • Is there a contingency plan if a similar weather situation occurs as last year?

  • Can your parents be any more awesome?  :-D

  • Are folks required to be registered with the FAA?  (We can delete this question if there is a don’t ask-don’t tell policy on the DL)

    • How do the FAA requirements impact those traveling from other countries?

  • How can folks help out during the event?

  • If I’m coming for the event but not really comfortable with volunteering, what is the earliest I can arrive and not be conscripted into setting up?

  • There is A LOT more stuff scheduled this year compared to the previous two.  How can I make sure I get the maximum out of my time?

  • Why are gas/nitro engine powered aircraft not allowed.  (Makes perfect sense to me, but I have seen this discussed a few times on social media.)

  • Should I feel uncomfortable about walking up to any of the FT crew and introducing myself?

  • Has Josh ever fallen asleep standing up at FTFF?  ;-)

  • Will Chad/Josh Scott/Eric M/Corey Feldman be at FTFF?

  • Will there be any other RC celebrities at FTFF

  • Camp Setup (RV and Camping)

    • Shower/bathroom setup

    • How are campfires to be set up?

    • Is there a recommended, “turn off generator and be quiet” time of night?

    • What is the size of a single campsite/RV site?

    • Where should folks park if they have more than one vehicle per site?

Family Tent is what exactly?

Power situation this year vs last year.

Night time activites (Bonfires, live music, anything else?)

FT Arrow FPV Race?

**Inside information** - Listen to find out more!
