Project: MT-3 Viking FPV Project

Status: On-going

Description:

The MESA rcFoam Fighters team were winners of last year'sThompson Education Foundation Creative Grant Project worth 1,000 dollars for our interest in FPV (First Person View) Flight.  This project has been and will still be in development for years to come.  The Viking Project has helped get the MESA rcFoam Fighters on the map for RC education, landing sponsorships with Readymade RC and Unicorn Wings.  The students plan to continue to test the Viking Platform until they have the design finalized.  Once they have the plane dialed in their hopes was to do land surveying for the City of Loveland, aid in the Colorado Search and Rescue group, and conduct aerial photography for misc. research.
