So do you fancy a big RC glider but dont fancy months of building? I do and a few of us Silly Fokkers have fancied the Diamond 2.5 for a good while. For one reson or another none of us have got around to buying one. We did all purchase Radian's and then Sky Climbers so I guess the next step would be something bigger and more controllable. Our newest member Tony Hamilton beat us all to it, a few weeks ago I got a call from Tony saying he fancied a flight. He said he needed a little bit of help setting up his new glider to which I told him I would be glad to help. When he arrived with the AT2.5 I was very very excited! I remember seeing this a few years ago and thinking I really want one of these. Now Tony was bringing one round and I would get to see just how good or how bad it really is in the flesh.

Apart from a few stickers flapping about (you can hear them in the video) and a little servo centering issue the model went together very easy. There is lots of room to move the battery around to obtain the correct c of g and it will run on 3s or 4s. For the video Tony was using the 3s as his new 4s cells had not yet arrived. Although you can fly it on 3s I would really reccomemed using the 4s set up. It does fly OK on 3s but does not really have the power to climb hard or get you out of trouble. On 4s however that is not the case!

I hope you liked the review and test flight video of this huge epo monster.  If you like the contnent and would like to see more of this kind thing please subscribe to us on YouTube. PS Please rate the article as this is a great way for me to get feedback. It only takes a second =)
