Axion RC Laser Arrow - Maiden & Review

by RCTV-UK (Formerly Silly Fokker RC) | May 24, 2013 | (6) Posted in Reviews

In this video Malc shows off his amazing new Axion RC Laser Arrow. Out of the box it claims to be 100MPH running on a 3s 2500mah lipo pack. I think it may be a little shy of the 100MPH but not by far. As you will have seen in this video it certainly does have plenty of get up and go. The vertical take off is going to keep you amused for hours too. It certainly will be something to show your friends at the flying field. The only thing that I didn't like about this super fast foamy is the spinner it is supplied with (hence it's non appearance in the video) I now have a plastic J Perkins one that works a treat and looks great!
If you are looking for a fast and accurate plane to really sharpen you up then the Axion Arrow has to be worth a look. With very little assembly and everything included except battery and RX what is there not to like.

I brought this one from Moor Models and I know he has just taken delivery of a new batch.

Here is the link to the shop http://www.moormodels.co.uk the website is a bit out of date but it's a brilliant little shop and Craig is really friendly & helpful.

Hope you liked the review.

PS Please rate the article as this is a great way for me to get feedback. It only takes a second =)

Thank you =) I was amazed I did not crash LOL I have only been flying 4 years with 2 x 1 year breaks. My first flight for a year was only a couple of weeks ago so I am a little shaky =) Went out with it tonight to test it with my new spinner. I broke the prop on the second flight (pilot error) Oops =)
Thing to do is fly as much as you can (simulator is good for that) one you get your thumbs working you'll be fine =)

I will try in future. Ivor (cameraman) was told not to zoom as novice camera operators always over zoom making the video unwatchable. On the plus side it does allow you to see how quickly it's going as there is background in the shot. Thank you for the advice though, maybe you have an example of your work you could share for me to take notes from?
