Do you think you are going to go over how to flash the receivers?

So easy to bind it up. Takes like 3 secs max.
Going to fly the t-copter on it tonight and see how it does.

Sweet, I really am interested in openlrs because I'm ordering fpv and using spektrum (mock me all you want lol) and really want to ditch that as fast as I can and I'll be a little low on funds after purchasing fpv and well, openlrs is cheap! I went on flytron yesterday and found that it is for futaba (I asked about you making a video on youtube installing this in spektrum) and also i read that "You should have some audrino experience..." That kind of scared me a bit but all that is about is for the guys that really want to mess with the firmware, right? All I really would have to do for better performance is just flash it with the ng (i think) firmware and flash the receivers.I feel bad making this post this long but what kind of flash tool do you need for flashing the receivers and module?

Hi there...actually I hoock up the openlrs with my spektrum radio,is very easy...I made the connection via trainer port and power it up with a external battery,of course u can buy a turnigy 9xr,but If you are use to use your spektrum radio why change?....spektrum radio have got 1 v ppm signal that is enoughf for the openlrs,if you are planing to use a different ufh system, you might want add a resistor to increase the voltage of your ppm signal....by the way if you want make it work with your spektrum radio what you need is a mono audio cable one male servo connection and a battery connector.....

What i would do is sell your spektrum stuff pick up the new 9xr if you need spektrum get the ornage rx one then you have options to mount the openlrs or also you could just get a futaba 72 and plug one in the bag that way save some cost. I will work on some videos before to long but yes openlrsng is what is going on ours. Going to do my first flying tests this week with it.

OK, thanks for the help. getting a cheap transmitter is a nice computerized transmitter would be nice like the 9xr. Getting an old 72mhz would work but most likely it wont have half the programming options that a $60 9xr would have.

Or you could fly on 72mhz as the poor mans lrs it works great out to a little over a mile.
