KK2 Stick Scaling

by FliteTest | July 31, 2013 | (12) Posted in How To

We've received a lot of questions regarding the Rotor Bones and Bat Bone, specifically when will the V-Tail components will be available in the store.

The components for the V-Tail Quad are available in the Flite Test Store now as well as the Bat Bone!

The build video is available HERE.

Viewers have wanted to know how David flips his V-Tail Quad. In this episode, he shows how to adjust your stick scaling on the HobbyKing KK2 board and do flips!

Adjusting the stick scaling on the KK2 board and also increasing the Expo on the Radio basically what you'll do.

With your multirotor a few mistakes high in the air, go ahead and practice, and make adjustments accordingly.

The V-Tail motor mount kits are available in the store now!

In the V-Tail Build video David shows how to assemble these motor mounts.

So give it a try, go out, have fun and try different setups with stick scaling on your multi-rotor.

Nice episode guys. I love seeing you guys experiment with multi-roters. I just build my first tricopter, I used david's design v2.5. Keep the KK2 settings video coming, its very use full.

Good quick and dirty ;) tutorial.

Love you guys are selling the bone series and introducing a battalion of new multirotor fliers.

My only suggestion, and I've mentioned this buried somewhere in the forums, is you need to provide decent battery straps in the full kits instead of those very cheap Home Depot velcro strips on a roll. That's really the only blemish on an otherwise outstanding design and kit.

Hey Guys:

You do such awesome stuff. The most interesting products and tutorials. I notice in the newer videos that there is no air to air video that looks so cool. I sure would like to see more of that..
