To the FliteTest Community:

Welcome back MESA rcFoam Fighters, it is finally here, another Season of MESArcFF.  There was over a 100 plus students that signed up and after the lottery picks for the 30 slots, half returners, and some newbies were drawn in hopes to bring more creativity to the mix.  This year also marks the involvement of other MESArcFF chapters starting up on both coasts of the USA.  One is in Orange County and the other is New Bedford, see the links below to check them out and stay tune for what they do this season.  We plan to do collaborative projects throughout the year that will bring a lot of excitement to the programs.

The Loveland MESArcFF students have a big year planned, and it should be fun to watch their progress. One thing is consistent; the creation of new designs will come out this season including the MESArcFF version of the F-22 Raptor.  Second is the constant trial and error of scratch build aircraft created by the students.  After winning the Creative Grant for our upcoming TriCopter FPV, and acquiring the funds from our District to purchase a Laser cutter, look for the MESArcFF crew to create their own platforms for TriCopter flight.

See the link of the top plate of our TriCopter Scorpion design in prototype form; https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=221736361306692&set=a.145099838970345.33768.137527363060926&type=1&theater

The use of the laser is by far going to increase productivity, which we hope will bring new designs to the table as well as sustaining our program by selling created products at our local hobby stores.

Here is a link of the laser we are acquiring: http://www.epiloglaser.com/legend_helix.htm

We also plan to work closely with the design team at Aerobeez in designing and creating a 3D plane for them to be sold at their store.  Check out their website: http://aerobeez.com/

We could go on and on, way too excited, stay tune and keep supporting the MESA rcFoam Fighters.  Please subscribe, Like us, and Follow us at the following links;
