Taking to the sky's made easy with Flitetest

Starting out with rc planes in South Africa can sometimes be a challenge and  a bit more expensive. Flite Test made the process more doable, and this is more of a tribute to the guys' at FT than a how to project to show that it can be done. My 12 year old son discovered FT and followed up on it and soon I got involved. I am posting a couple of photos and videos to show our starting off and where we are now. We started 3 months ago. All our planes are scratch builds from ft plans some build out of local 3 mm foam board and some imported dollar tree board. the first video is a maiden with his nuttball and listening to the instructions, he took of and landed a couple of times. We currently have Nuttballs, ft flyers, delta wings, Spitfire's, Dusty, Baby blender and some of our own designs.

The latest adition to the hanger. A Viggen build out of black foam board.......

Hey Barend.. you now Mazies plastics sell similar foam to adams boad, for R81 for a 1,2m x 2.4m sheet..its 5mm fnf5mm plastic sheet coverd very light or fnf5mm paper covered, heavy and not recomended..
