Red Light Tube for Night Flying

Sometimes when you are flying one of your bugs in the late afternoon it starts to get dark and you loose sight on what is the front and back (in my case a tricopter) and at some point you loose sight at all!! That sucks cause you wanna keep flying.
So I started to investigate lights and fluerescent sticks for my Tri, but either you had to connect to your battery, use zip ties or sticks would die off etc. etc.

Till when I realized that a few years ago I purchased on eBay this easy click on and off light weight red tube light with an elastic clip-on system for my mountain bike. Putting 1 and 1 together, I use it now on my bugs and it works like a freaking charm. So easy to use, beautifull light. Runs on a normall battery.

It has an on/off button, strobe and comes in different colors (white, red, blue, green and yellow).

They come in different sizes.

They also have a model that charges by usb.

Wow, cool! I've been looking for some solid colors and not just led strips that are placed separated from each other. This is a really good idea, thank you!

$40?!

Very nice, but WAAY too expensive for a multi-rotor when you can buy a meter of red, green and white LEDs that are easily as bright, along with an Rx switch, all for less than half that and weigh less.

Yeah they are to expansive for sure, I just had it lying around cause I bought it back in the day for my bike. Wouldn't spend it for my multi rotor. But those that Renceww3 found for 16 dollars are definitely an option!!! Cheers
