Flite Test - FPV Antennas - FLITE TIP This episode we have a return appearance by David Windestall, also known as Dadde on the internet forums. David joins the Joshes to help explain a confusing topic, antennas, specifically the ones used for FPV. David goes into great detail about the pluses and minuses of a few different designs of antennas. They also speak about some designs you can build yourself. If you've flown FPV, or are interested in giving it a try, you won't want to miss this episode! Oh, be sure to subscribe, every time you watch an episode that you aren't subscribed to, Chad refuses to let Josh Scott fly. -Fred Provost David Windestal http//:RCexplorer.se The Bixler Plane http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=16542

Great video...

For 900mHz antennas, this is a good write up for DIY inverted vee.

Great video guys, and props to Alex Greaves!
I wonder has anyone bothered to use a simple servo gimbal to keep a linear antenna straight? Assuming you're not banking more than 45 degrees. It would probably work better on a multi-rotor.
