FT spitfire sketchup design

Hi my name is Roel and i live in the netherlands. I've been a big fan of the flitetest show and community and would like to share my input in this article. I have been designing al sorts of projects and models in sketchup for about 8 years and i'm always looking for new things to design. I'm currently flying only multicopters but would like to expand this to model airplanes.

in this article i'm going to show you the spitfire design i made from david's design only in 3d sketchup.

though i made this design without the powerpod I still think it looks awesome.

if you want more detail of the plane i've put the design on my warehouse just look for FT spitfire or my username Roelke2. I hope you like it and maybe i will design all the current swappable planes.

Very nice work! How long have you been using Sketchup? I would like to learn how to use this software.

I agree! Sketchup is easy to learn and to use. I use the v7. I never used v8 since it doesn't import .dxf files and the new, v2013, is missing a feature that I use a lot.

lol. I have all my FT planes in Sketchup. I use it to make the file for my Phlatprinter to cut it out.
