What keeps me flying FPV is the duality of this hobby. There are sessions of high adrenaline with low and close fly bys and then there are those magic moments of serenity, beautiful views and tranquility.

Honestly, there was more luck involved than it seems. The problem with flying through the powerlines is that you get interference on the video and worse, the lines only show up on your video feed very late since the flightcamera image is only so good. I am using a 650VTL camera but even so, if the light does not come in the right direction, you have to be lucky to make it.
The X8 did not make it as you can see later in the video.

Just in case you wondered, your plane wont fry if it does hit the lines and they do not give on impact - your model will.
