I dont really know what LG is, but I do have a suggestion for a firewall or a motor mount, you should strengthen the front structure up with 2-4 layers of foam(inside right behind the firewall, not sticking out), then hot glue or epoxy a 2-3mm thick plywood firewall then it should be more than enough :) and in my opinion, unless you want it to fly slow, you should narrow up the nose to make it more aerodynamic and perhapse think about a folding prop

I think LG = landing gear.

ok. I was thinking about something like that but I think I am going to take some 3/16" ply with some dowels that go into the foam a few inches and epoxy them in, LG stands for landing gear.

I built a 40" delta, as can be seen here. http://www.phlatforum.com/xenforo/threads/del-toro-40.3130/. It weighs near 3 lib. As you can see in the pics I made the LG like they showed it here at Flite Test in one of their plans.

Hi Microairman1 - How did it go with this build - it is about 9 months since your post. Let us know the outcome. I was reviewing the FT swappables and there is a jump from the delta to the Baby Blender. I was looking for a straightforward step that should appear between those two planes, a stable 4-channel Throt-Rud-Elevator-Aileron suite and a 40 inch version of the Ugly Stik seemed right. I googled on it and came to your thread here. A 40 to 48-inch may be able to use a 250W setup, I would think.
