Brushless Super Cub Stunt-FAILED!! :(

Hello all, this is my first post on the new Flitetest.com :)

I have been flying R/C aircraft for about two years now. I have various types of aircraft ranging from gas to electric aircraft, I currently use a Turnigy 9x and never had any problems with the TX/RX combination at all. So me, always wanting to do something stupid; I took my old PZ (ParkZone) brushed  Super Cub and converted it to a brushless power system.

  • Turnigy 3530-1100 KV
  • 40A Esc I used from a Nitroplanes A-10
  • Yellow paint..b/c I like yellow..lol
  • Custom motor mount made for a Turnigy motor- off ebay
  • Zippy 3S-35c 2200mah

So with this setup not including original price of the brushed PZ cub, was about $45.00 give or take $5.00, and after the install and initial run-up and a couple of test fights this setup deemed very reliable and provided the newly-revived PZ super cub with stupid-power (straight vertical within 5 feet :).

After some flights I feel like I can do whatever I want with this plane and just enjoy the SH*T out of it. OR so I thought.....AGHHHH..

So basically I was out flying and my buddy that was recording said, "Hey, try doing a loop around the telephone wire!".. Well I tried. The first attempt to do a loop around the telephone wire was actually a success..:)  :)  ..but no one was filming like I thought they were. Well as they say second time-in my case, is not a charm :(

VIDEO TELLS THE STORY!!  :)

P.s. Check out my other video under my channel if you want.
