F22 Epp/Depron Parkjet made with Blue Core 1/4" foam

After watching the build video on the Flite Test You Tube channel, I decided to build one. I used 1/4" Blue Core foam (I removed the plastic sheet off the sides first). I used balsa wood on all the exposed edges and bass wood for the wing strengtheners.  I am not fully satisfied with the performance of the power system. After many years of RC electric designs (35 years), I always notice the run times of the power system goes down on a pusher style arrangement. I am now going to move the motor/prop to the back side of the prop slot and make the system a "tractor  pull" and see if this improves my performance numbers. I will upload a new video if this works.  I also decided to use a KM2 airfoil on the wing to improve flight performance (which it did).

Nice video. I just built an F-22 and I used a forward facing motor like to you did and it works great. I plan to build another F-22 using the air foil method that you used. Thanks for the great video and the tips!
