Flying on skis

Winter is here in Switzerland... But rc flying is not hibernating!

So last winter I've built a pair of skis for my U Can Fly from Hype. I've made the skis from this article. It is in french but google is always your friend!

Due to heavy constraints on my nose wheel, I decided this season to remove it and switch my plane to a classic gear configuration. But skis are the same.

So two versions of my plane on skis:

With nose ski (2011 version)

Or the new classical gear configuration 2012

So my only recommandation is: dress your plane!
