R/C Bush Flying

by Tail Heavy Productions | July 30, 2012 | (11) Posted in Just Fun

Earlier in the summer I visited the coast of Washington at a town called Seabrook. I took some aerial photos with my funcub early in the mornings when the winds were calm. I realized that the beach wasn't just a runway for aerials...it was an opening for a whole different type of flying. Below is the video I made that captured my first attempt at R/C Bush Flying. Enjoy!

Great idea, half the fun Is the challenge of landing well in an odd spot. I love it when people say "Bet you cant land it _____".

I've seen some of your videos on YT - you are an incredible pilot.

What engine configuration do you have in your cub? Any mods?

Thank you! I just submitted a new Bush Flying article literally minutes ago, wait until tomorrow and I included the specs on the plane which are updated from this one. :)
