Ritewing Zephyr ZII flies through the clouds 4000 FT FPV

Just flying MY zii to an altitude of almost 4000 FT. only my 3rd time flying it.

used a dragon link uhf system and an ezosd.
used a dx8 radio.

To tell you the truth Josh i dont really know much of the unit. all i know is i had it installed on the plane (ritewing zII -great wing by the way- ) and thats the furthest ive taking it 4.4 miles with out a glitch. i was about 4000 ft up and that was my 4th flight (the video that you saw was my 3rd fpv flight ever :)only and i know i can still take it further.

By the way,, i gave chad an idea about posting a link to your youtube videos from the viewers and he said he was gonna run it by you guys. The idea is simple,,,

show a link of a youtube video (of rc stuff) that you guys have liked. like video of the week or something like that. that way your viewers will feel part of the show.

Very cool, I've got my Zephyr on the way, it's in the post at the moment, should get it this week. Can I ask what's your setup, motor, servo, battery prop.

What Video TX/RX setup did you use? any dropouts?

i use a long range uhf setup by dragon link. and so far ive been 4.4 miles with no break ups.
