Arkbird in FX-61 test flight

Made this video just this week when I was conducting my first airborne test for the FX-61 and the Arkbird autopilot. It was a little gusty on the day for a test flight but I thought what the heck.

Note the moment the Arkbird was switched to RTL mode. The little stall recovery at the end was me cra**ing my pants after pulling out of the autopilot induced death dive at around 0.5m above the ground!

Advice has suggested it's a vibration issue that's making it hard for the Arkbird. I've also noticed that when cruising at half throttle the RTL works fine, this seems to support that advice. So the next step is to balance the prop, fingers crossed once that's done the RTL will bring her back to me in one piece not 100 pieces! :)

I am a complete neophyte where FPV or even RC flight is concerned, were it not for your comments I would have never guessed that you even had a problem in this flight.. From my perspective the FX-61 would seem to be a nimble yet stable little ship, Although I do realize much depends on the skills of the pilot.

:) Having an Arkbird on board means you never have to say Oops! Good luck on the next outing.
