B-25 Micro Shootout

Josh B. and Alex compared two B-25 airplanes, one from Hobbico and one from Horizon Hobby.

Both models are $119. The Horizon model is bind-and-fly, and the Hobbico model is ready-to-fly.

The Hobbico model includes a pretty underwhelming transmitter, and we had to solder a new connection on the battery. The Horizon model comes with AS3X stabilization but does not include a battery.

We upgraded the Hobbico model to our Tactic transmitter because we preferred the Tactic gimbals to the ones on the included transmitter.

The detail on both models is fantastic, and they both get a pretty decent flight time and fly really well.

Happy flying!

Nice review. You think you could give your take on the Macfree Micro F-22 rtf. I'd like to get your spin on it, especially the transmitter and the beginner's experience aspect. Thank you for what you are doing!

I like your videos but it is NOT COOL to fly behind the flight line. Not a good example to set for others.
