Just to set the record straight, there is a single fee, that is to cover the cost of the airframe, esc, motor, servos and sundries. This is no money making scheme considering that the proceeds for the event.
I Will be building 32 Airframes out of my own pocket for this event and my cost to this is 24 Dollars in raw material per airframe and I might need to fork out the 60 dollars for the motor esc and props as well if I cant get my local hobby shop to sponsor so for me to ask each combat pilot to pay 25 dollars to participate with zero risk to their own airframe I think is more than noble.
I believe that you are horribly misinformed and advise that you read all the text and relevant articles and material before you comment and chritizise.
