Bixler 2 FPV Landing gear with Shock absorbers

Here is my Bixler 2 FPV HomeMade Landing gear with Shock absorbers

It's made from some "hair elastics" and "metal gas lines".

I cut a "slot" in the Gas line to hold all elastics.

I used some rods from bicycle tires. They are very strong.

I also used plastic Bic stylos.

The tires are from another Plane.

Look at the video, it's easier to understand...

(please excuse my poor english)

I gave a 5 star rating. simple, cheap, and a great performance.

Dude, this is a tease. They are cool, but none of the pics show how to make them. Tsk Tsk, shame on you. Do a how to video, for the FT masses.

How I would do it: Take a set of RC Car shocks, attach the bottom to a couple rods and stick it to the plane.

Good Idea! Very innovative. How much did they cost to make, if i had to buy everthing except the pens?
