Breeze Selfie Drone Review

We’ve gotten a lot of feedback from our community about including more new technologies in our show. In the spirit of this feedback, we took a look at the Yuneec Breeze Selfie Drone!

The Breeze is a pretty user-friendly platform that you control from your phone and designed specifically for drone selfies.

Trent from Yuneec joined us to walk us through some of the Breeze’s features, including Selfie mode.

In Selfie mode, the Breeze will take over and hover at a predetermined altitude that you can change in the app. The app also has intuitive sliders to adjust altitude and distance.

The orbit feature allows you to use a slider in the app to make the drone orbit around you. If you’re no longer in the frame, you can use the trim buttons to reorient the Breeze so you’re back in frame.

Once you’re ready to take a photo, press the camera button and tap to record video or take a photo!

After you’ve taken photos or videos, you can access them through the in-app gallery and download them directly to your phone. You can also select an image or video and share it on social media through the app.

The Breeze can take 4K video (which they recommend for non-windy conditions or indoor use), 1080 electronic image stabilized video, and 720 electronic image stabilized video.

The Breeze also includes a Pilot mode for regular flying using interactive “sticks” in the app.

Thanks to Trent for walking us through the Breeze's features. Learn more about the Breeze on the Yuneec website.

This method of filming/photography, moves us away from "stand alone" cameras. It gives us an opportunity to record and view our world from different angles. The advantage of this technology is now for everyone.
