 There where a strong wind that day so i had to fly a lot in the same direction, other than that it was pretty smooth :-).

 

THE BOBBLE NOSE v3.5


This is a video I made with my scratch build plane called "THE BOBBLE NOSE" this plane was originaly my first scratch build plane. But after a dusin overhales its now a APM 2.5 FPV plane.

Wingspan. 1.4m

weigth. 1,4kg.

Foamboard 5mm for wing and tail.

15mm x 15mm balsawood tailboom

packeging cardboard 8.5cm x 8.5cm squaretube fugelarge.


Plane Parts.

Motor: 2 x NTM Prop Drive 28-26 1000KV / 315W (short shaft version) original from my tricoptor.

Prop: 9:6 SF

Motor Battery: Zippy 3S 5000mah 20C

ESC: 2 x Multistar 30A opto

Servo:Turnigy 9g.

 

FPV.

GoPro 3 Black.

5.8ghz 1000mw tx BOSCAM w. clowerleaf.

2 x RX. 805 5.8ghz w. skewplaner and 7 turn helical.

EASY DIVERSITY.

A/V USB for PC (blackbox).

FatShark BASE SD video headset.

Car jumpstarter 12V power for groundstation.

 

Control.

AMP 2.5 w. UBLOX GPS

FPV / APM / servor Battery: Zippy 3S 2500mah 3C

UBEC: 3A 5V

Futaba T8FGs. w. RX.

 

These pictures where taken while it had the dummy FPV equipment and old nose on + 9 x 6 instead of 10 x 4.7 like on the pic.
