Hi, This is Val and today I will show how build a very simple inflatable pylon for all FPV race !

Very simple to make !

You need to have :

To build the inflatable part :
Cut the closed portion of the bag,
inserted one into each other, fix together with office tape, both sides
being careful to do not let air outlets..
And for the last bag which will be the head of the pylon, you don't need to cut the closed portion.
Cut an hexagon in the foam, of closest diameter of the bag.
Cut a piece a foam slightly larger than previous.
Cut two foam spar, smaller than the diameter of the hexagon.
Make a hole smaller than the fan into the hexagon.
fix the fan just above the hole with hot glue gun.
fix the two spars in parallel.
Fix with the reinforced tape, the top portion of the pylon with his foam basis.
and fix with the hot glue the top portion on the big foam plate, power on the fan and now it's done !

Great idea! I'm sure wind is a problem with these?

Maybe with stronger materials like vinyl and a ~120cfm Delta fan you can make this without having to use the strings.
