This recalls us of a Greenpeace operation the 2nd of may 2012, when a paraglider threw a smoke system on a powerplant in Bugey (Ain, France). (www.lefigaro.fr) :
"For Greenpeace, who has already denied any implication in this flyings, it shows "of a large-scale poeration". Colonel Jean-Pascal Breton, spokesman of the Air Force, put in perspective on the contrary the threat established by these machines, underlining that they were of small size, and the authority arranged only testimonies : "the drones which were evoked by the testimonies are mini-drones on sale in the business"" (www.lemonde.fr)
A french TV news show was talking about drones by the size of a DJI Phantom or a TBS Discovery (not that really small...) (TF1)
It's to say that overflight of nuclear powerplants is forbidden in a perimeter of 5km (3.1 miles) around the site and 1000m (3280ft) over it, it is liable to a year of detention and a 75 000 euros fine (94 000 dollars).
For now, nobody has been arrested for this investigation.
