Easyglider Crash

by TeamEZephyr | January 4, 2014 | (0) Posted in Just Fun

This shows you how we crashed our 1 month old Multiplex Easyglider.

Total Damage:
New fuselage, 2x HXT900 for ailerons, new spinner

Cause of crash:
We think the crash was caused by lack of attention of the spotters. The pilot was flying from a 9" LCD screen and had 2 spotters but at the moment of the crash both spotters weren't paying attention to the aircraft so no one could have taken over or recovered flight of the aircraft in any way. I hope this is a very important lesson to everyone who flies FPV. Always have at least 1 spotter paying attention to your aircraft or else bad things might happen :(

Setup on plane:

- Recording camera: GoPro Hero 2 @ 1080p
- FPV camera: GoPro Hero 2 live feed

- Servo's: 2x HXT900 (ailerons) 2x Hitec HS-80 (Elevator and Rudder)
