Flite Test Podcast without Itunes

With the new Flite Test Podcast released many people are excited. I've scene multiple comments about people who do not have or use Itunes, but still are interested in the podcast.  Well I have a solution for you.

For you PC users who want to listen to the podcast I recommend you try Podnova Player  First click on the register button, and create an account, this way you will be able to subscribe and the podcast will auto update when you log in.  If you do not wish to create an account, you can still listen to the Pod Cast.

Next, you will need to enter  the RSS URL of the podcast.  That address for the Flite Test Pod Cast you need to enter is  http://flitetest.libsyn.com/rss

If you did not create an account you may click read and you will still be able to listen to the podcast!

Flite Test Podcast on Android

There are several apps available on Google Play that will allow you to listen to Podcast.  I reccomend IPP Podcast Player.  It is very easy to use, and it's FREE!  All you need to do is download the app, and search Flite test in the search bar and hit subscribe.

Now you are able to enjoy the new Flite Test Podcast without using Itunes on your PC and Android Device!

The podnova player didn't pull in the feeds correctly for me. So I just went to the url the author provided in my web browser. I was able to right click on the mp3 files and download them to my desktop. EVEN BETTER! Listening now :)

I'm listening with podnova, love the show.
Small problem with sound level, normal setting on most of your videos is totally un hear able on the pod cast. turn volume up to max, OK. but if I forget to turn it back down, you'll be reminded what boom box means. Sound is very clear, easy to understand.

You can also get it without iTunes via the Stitcher site.... it's probably similar to podnova. It was mentioned in one of your tweets/fb posts I think. http://app.stitcher.com

I also highly recommend the IPP Podcast Player for the Android devices. Works fine on my Galaxy S2.

• Open VLC
• Go to View > Playlist (or do a CTL + L) to activate the playlist interface.
• LHS, in the Media Browser section, scroll to Internet >Podcast.
• Click on the small (+) button in the Podcast section.
• A small "Subscribe" window shall open.
• Simply paste the URL of the podcast (you can add multiple URLs).
• Click on the OK button
• Wait for VLC to retrieve the necessary information for the feeds (this may take some minutes depending on your internet connection).
• And there you are, the podcasts are now displayed.
• Double click on an item to play it
• To remove a podcast simply click on the (-) sign next to the latter in the Media Browser section.
