This is my first construction in Foamboard.

You can download the plans here:

 FB Flitestick.pdf

The whole story is at the forum. Full Build

 I made an extended powerpod.

 Created a symmetrical profile.

Build thick wings.

 Made a stiff fuselage.

Cut a battery hatch.

Aquired  windestalian technology.

Had an idea for a terrific landing gear.

Check out the full story at the forum:  Full Build

There are more mods already drawn: FB Broomstick, FB Middlestick and FB Brittlestick

Maybe, there will be a FB Hoverstick too?

 Build your own version!

Love the landing gear! is it just a scaled up version of the flitetest shape with foamboard to mimic an aluminum frame?

It's not foamboard, it's Hobbycolor, a plastic Material 3 mm thick

Wingtips are a centerpiece of foamboard and thin cardboard forming the surface. There is a pattern in the plans. First hotglue it to the centerpiece and than to the profile. When dry, cut off excessive cardboard.
