Thanks for the videos.

I'm building one of these and trying to decide between the SunnySky 2212 1400kv and 980kv. Which one would be more efficient/give longer flight time on a tricopter?

I would say the 980 gives you a slightly longer flight time. But man the 1400's are brutal!!!! For fast and stunt flying go for the 1400's. Maybe for more smooth and FPV flying go for the 980's.
