Flite Test's Future HQ! (Fundraiser)

You know, throughout the history of Flite Test, there have been a number of significant announcements: when we released the first FT Speedbuild Kits, when we moved into our current workshop, the first Flite Fest in 2014...

Now, a new chapter begins.

Click here to be part of the vision!

Flite Test - The World of Flight is one of the biggest projects we have ever undertaken. For this reason, we're making it a community project to turn the dream into a reality. Through your contributions, whatever the amount, we can all pull together and build something truly wonderful and one-of-a-kind.

To reward you, we've made many exciting 'perks'. These include having personal name engraving on a special 'Founders Wall' and exclusive merchandise. The higher you pledge, the more interesting and exclusive things get! One of our favourites is a special 'Founders Edition Airplane Kit' with private access to a build video and plans. In addition to this, you can even claim an exclusive Personal Flite Fest Experience where you get to spend a day with us (talk about a once in a lifetime opportunity!).

Check out the Indigogo fundraiser page for more information.

All About the New Home of Flite Test

In short, we have set out a multi-year action plan to convert an existing golf course into a World of Flight. This will be the new headquarters of Flite Test and the show but also the home of the community; it will be a location where families, friends and hobbyists can get together to explore every aspect of the world of flight.

With a huge open location perfect for runways, pavilions and flight centres, (and with your help) this environment can be turned into a paradise of flight.

Here's the game plan:

Step One: Moving the old FT headquarters to this new location. This includes offices, content and product development for all operations.

Step Two: Build a small community area for flying, relaxing and connecting.

Step Three: Install a 700ft runway, pilot stations and infrastructure in front of the HQ building.

Step Four: Create a hub where our community can not only gather but also create, innovate, and connect.  We want to build a hobby shop of tomorrow!

Step Five: Making more runways, a better roadway network, RV water/electric hookups and other pavilions/areas to gather throughout the property to fully convert the site into a fully-functional airpark.

Check out the Indigogo page for a much more in-depth look at the game plan and what's going to happen over the years to come.

Further Listening

Here is a link to a recent Flite Test podcast that delves deeper into the new headquarters and all of the exciting times it will hold for the future.

As a final note, from Josh Bixler, 'Our heart is to not only grow the World of Flight, but to change lives along the way.  You have an opportunity to be part of not only creating an exciting location for you and your family to visit, but to also bless others looking to connect through flight and fellowship.' Our sincerest thanks is with everyone who takes part in this project. We can't wait to see this become a reality. Together, let's build something amazing.
