To the FliteTest Community;

When FliteTest comes out with a new plane, the boys immediatley get the plans ready for the laser cutter.  We are primarily a fighter jet group, so it was nice to see some slowing flying War Birds get assembeled in our production room.  This article and episode features our 8th Grade student Colton Vogel laser cutting, constructing, and flying the Mustang all in one day, before, at Lunch, and after school.  Colton is having a lot of success with his Safe Receiver ever since pulling it out of the Apprentice, and it proved to be another great teaching aid for this build.

We would like to thank the FliteTest Team for allowing the public to download and play with this design, the team had a fun time with it, at least 5 were printed before leaving for break.

Thanks for all the support,

MESArcFF Team

Almost completed, he realized later that he put the canopy on backwards, lol!

Easy toss and it flew right out of the hands.

It has a great scale look!

Once again he does it again, way to go Colton!

Another close up of the power pod with the Apprentice Safe Technology Receiver.

Wow! That's a nice build and it flies like a dream. Very impressive - the backwards canopy looks rather cool to me...

Really wild, I need to build this one. So many P 51s to choose from. FPRC, JEA, Ultramicrobe and now Flite Test. I have so many irons in the fire right now, weather not cooperating right now so I have been in a building frenzy. Nice job on this one Colten, keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing.
