FT Spitfire maiden

My first FT build. I traced it out onto DTF using a quickbuild kit as a pattern.

The canopy and pilot are from a Parkzone F4U and the decals are from a Parkzone Spitfire MkIX.

Thanks! It was really a lucky find hanging on the wall at my local hobby shop. It looked like it might fit so I gave it a try,

Beautiful, I love the slow fly-byes. Nice landing too. The paint and everything look great, keep it up. Love to see a build vid or how-to paint vid on this.

This plane flies so scale it is amazing - what a great design by the FT gang.
I am cutting out a couple more so maybe I can shoot some build and paint video.
The oil based semi gloss polyurethane base coat - brushed on and wiped off really hardens the foam board and seals it up nicely, The I used spray cans for final coats,
