Is My LiPo charged? And easy fuel line clamps

by DaPreacherMan43 | July 30, 2013 | (0) Posted in Tips

Use smal zip-ties to make cheap and easy fule line clamps for your nitro power rc airplanes.

By using a write-on wipe-off marker, you can easily write on your lipo batteries to know when you charged them last. By wiping off the marker from the battery case, you know it needs to be charged.

Thanks for watching!

Cool tips. I use a small rubber band around my lipo's body (long ways so it stays away from my velcro) to show it has charge and when it's depleted I put the rubber band around the battery/balance wires, that way I'll notice right away if I'm trying to hook up a depleted battery. Once charged I switch it back.

That's a great idea too. I use dry erase markers in my office job, and just happened to think that the plastic heat shrink wrapping on the Lipos would probably work like a dry erase board. Fair winds and happy landings!

I like the marker idea with the month of purchase. When I pull the battery out of a plane I usually wrap the balance lead in between and around the discharge wires, they are usually long enough to do one or two wraps.
