To the FliteTest Community:

This episode of MESArcFF features 8th grader Colton designing the MF-22 Raptor. At the beginning of the year we noticed that we have never designed this plane before, always using someone else's re-creation to build and test. So Colton took the project on to recreate it on behalf of the MESA team, and here is his prototype, it flew great, and it looks awesome. Stay tune as he works out the design details and gets this plan out to all for download and build.

Colton's next steps is to fly the prototype a few more times, working out all the details of the plane's flight characteristics.  Once he has that nailed down, he will then go back to the drawing board where he will finalize the plans, print them out, build the plane again to see if all goes well, and perform more test flights.

Once the plane is completed, Colton will have a final episode on his plane along with a build video to follow. These plans will be free for download at the following week, stay tune!.
