Ninja Blender

I found a beat up Donatello (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) figurine at a local thrift shop while searching for a fun pilot for my recently completed Baby Blender V2 scratch build. You may remember from the theme song lyrics that "Donatello does machines." Perfect!  I ended up attaching him to the rudder servo so he would twist when the rudder moved left or right.  Basically just hot glued him onto a small stiff 2mm wire and then glued the wire right on center with the servo arm screw.  Works very well so far.  Here's a quick video of some Ninja barnstorming ;)

Filmed with an HD wing cam 720p version velcroed onto the turtle deck.

As a side note, I love how this plane flies - especially on high rates.  Snappy and exciting!  Very thankful to the guys at Flite Test for providing the plans and resources - most especially this awesome site.  It's so inspiring to see all the input and passion from everyone.

Thanks all! I tend to record every flight just for fun and I laugh nearly every time as well.
This goofy stuff is what makes the hobby more fun for me and I really dig that the fun aspect is what flitetest is all about. Thankful for this community but wish we had some more pilots out here in Jackson, WY!
