To the Flite Test Community,
The students and I wanted to share an update on our new lab that is currently being built in Longmont Colorado. The site is called the Innovation Center of St. Vrain Valley Schools, we are proud to have a classroom along with an onsite flying facility to test our designs, train pilots, and hold model flying events. The students have been working hard all semester to build the foundation of the program that will be moving into its new home come August. We have been able to develop out a UAS Industry certificated pathway, offering two course this upcoming year. Along with the help of AIMS Community College and their Aviation Department, we our developing out a Pilot program as well, introducing its first set of courses this upcoming school year at our Erie High School Aerospace academy partner. Exciting news around flight is coming to Longmont, follow the students journey as they continue to build out the program!
