RCTESTFLIGHT Sport Quad Overview

Here's my quadcopter that I have been flying for around 8 months now. It is Rctestflights Sport Quad kit. The kit is very well made including everything you see in the picture below:

The power distribution board acts as the bottom plate and the top plate is very sturdy and well thought out with all the holes to run wires through.

The best part of this kit is the wire rope vibration isolators. Its such a "duh" system but its effectiveness is outstanding. It is incredibly hard for the cameras to be affected by unbalanced anything. Not to mention it is a fantastic way to get seperation between fpv and the regular receiver antenna, since the bar that is on the isolators is about 18 inches long.

I have my rangelink antenna at the back end of the bar, with my rangelink rx in front of that with my 5.8 400mw vtx in front of that with the fpv camera in front of that lol. The bar on the isolators does its job with eliminating vibrations, allowing seperation, and providing great mounting space.

Yeah its just a great fpv quad. Its main purpose is not to crash, ever, it is to get quality video and picture with a gimbal, and it does its job incredibly well even with a simple kk2 for stability.

Sadly the kit is discontinued (maybe he has some lying around if you really want one) but the next version should be out in two months, I just asked him about it yesterday.

The motors offer a fantastic amount of power on a not-so-light quad. along with a 40c 3000mah 3s, you get a respectable 8 minutes of flight with a good minute to add on to get home.

So there you have it, the kit is great, in its aluminum towelbar glory.
