Good to know about the pitfalls of this camera, but I have found that the camera is the star and you should not skimp on it. I also think you buy cheap and buy twice, I have a hero 2 and love it, I only wish I could have another one :-)
I like your quad, and look forward to some detail on it.

Nice review, but too many cons compared to the GoPro for my liking. I have a Hero2 and I love it, especially 720 at 60fps when flying and recording FPV footage. Just a pity GoPro can't get their firmware updates right...

the hero 2 is a way better camera . but the suptig gets the job done . i only fly using the hero2 now . but for a while the suptig was all i had

i want that painting!! also, i love my gopro too much to replace it with a copy, a hero 3 maybe :)
