The Adventures of my Custom Y6 Hexacopter

by Corsair2014 | October 29, 2014 | (0) Posted in Just Fun

It has been a while since I've posted an article, mainly because I have been so busy with college that I haven't had time to build anything. I have, however, been playing with my custom Y6 hexacopter i built over the summer. This first video is a beautiful compilation of the best shots I have gotten during my first semester of college, capturing the breathtaking beauty of Prescott, Arizona and it's granite dells.

This second video isn't quite as impressive, but is beatufiul nonetheless. This was filmed over the summer in Woodlake, TX where i worked as videographer for PineyWoods Baptist Camp

If yall would like more information on my custom Y6, let me know and i can make a dedicated article about it/my setup etc.

Thanks!

Wow your videos are amazing! I would love to see your hex and setup. The hex seems to be so locked in.... do you use a DJI Naza?

Yes i do, i use Naza lite +gps but the real stability is from the tarot t2d gimbal which works pretty well

Nice videos! Really beautiful places you fly over. I would like if you made an article with more information about your copter. It is always interesting to read about something custom.
