The Dark Knight

To the FliteTest Community;

This episode features Sam and his MT-1 Dark Knight build.  This plane was a MESA creation about 3 years ago and it was brought out of the vault this past week to take to the skies once again. This episode also shows the advantages of having a laser cutter, with a build that was overdone with the spray paint causing the plane's wing to warp, which then made it harder to fly, it was easy for Sam to print it off again and take the plane out the very next day in preparation for his presentation at the Maker Faire.  Sam did a great job on the building process, learning from his mistakes and getting to fly his plane with ease. He has since then flown the plane three times and is almost getting to the point of fly by his own with the aid of someone throwing up the plane for him.
