The Hellcat with a few issues!

We take a look into the planes from Dynam with their 1275mm Hellcat. The biggest reason why we picked up this plane is the difficulty of finding RC warbird that is not a Mustang.

Specs:

Wing Span
1275mm
Motors
BM3720A-KV500
Props
3-blade 13x7
Recommended Battery
3s 2200mah
Channels
Throttle, Ailerons, Elevator, Rudder, Flaps, Retracts

When pulling the plane out, we get several extra props, which is good and bad. I am curious if this is writing on the wall with these being crappy props. However, props to the manufacture for giving us several spares which is nice. The overall quality of the plane is not the best and leaves a lot to desire with back glue jobs, cracked flaps and such.

After getting the model together and beginning to actuate the retracts, they seem to have a mind of their own. They only work some of the times. The fuse as is poorly glued with a gap in it.

And during the build, the motor exhaust came off which was glued on from the factory!

Than further in to debugging issues, the esc was faulty. After the review we replaced it with known good ecs and it was night and day difference. The plane finally had enough power to pull from your hand!

Overall. this is a disappointing plane and I wish more companies would make different warbird than the mustang.
