Tricopter Revisions + New Frame w/Maker Trainer 2

Hello Everybody, we finally hopped back on the RC train, and we're ready to release more content! To start this off, we decided to pick up where we left off, by revising our entire approach towards the tricopter project.

This is the video:

We built the Frame based off of the David Windistal Frame, but we removed the curves so we could cut it with a dremel, and so that the frame has more room for things like FPV transmitters for later on...

We have the ESC's running Simonk, a custom firmware for ESC's made for multirotors.

I had problems with the props losing friction with the motor and spinning out, so I bound the props to the motor by using M4 washers and M4 loctite nuts. I secured them in this order (starting from the motor side), washer, prop, washer, then the loctite nut.

I built the Camera tray out of large popsicle sticks and curved paper clips as the isolaters. It works well, and was very simple to make.

Finally, the biggest change was the switch to the KK2 Flight Controller Board. I believe that any beginner should be using it. We switched from the Multiwii Pro and noticed an immediate difference. The KK2 is significantly easier to set up, fly, and calibrate, which is important as a beginner should be spending the most time flying. I would highly suggest this board to anyone starting in Multirotors. Once We become more experienced, we will definitely switch back to the Multiwii Pro
