This article is about my scratch build RC Model Airplane called the "USS War Cry".  The main hull consists of mainly spare parts from the TWM (the wings maker) J-11B topside hull which was salvaged from a crash a while back.  The remaining parts of the hull consist of foam board and the pink colored Foam Board Insulation Sheathing which home depot carries.  The decision to start building USS War Cry was because of the J-11B salvaged hull.  The wings were not damaged as well as the vertical and horizontal stabs which make great control surfaces and just made the overall construction that much easier.  The remaining task was really to add to the existing partial template and rebuild from the ground up, as there was already an existing ground zero template.  Essentially the bow section is made up of the additional foam board and pink insulation sheathing while the stern section of the vessel mainly consists of the salvaged rear hull section of the destroyed TWM J-11B.  The two sections (bow and stern) are joined together by two pieces of balsa wood beam (36-inch x 1/2-inch x 4-inch) each vertically mounted for strength in an effort to elongate the forward section to achieve the desired Center of gravity required for the Mean Aero Dynamic Chord of the swept wing design, as well as offer sufficient real estate for the two 4000mah 4s 45C China hobby Line batteries and external BEC 3s 850mah 25C battery also to power a partial section of the external lighting.  The nose retracts also enjoyed sufficient real estate with the given configuration.

Non-functional parts such as the Martinelli plastic apple juice bottles and plastic radial engine parts from the 1.2m Dynam Gee Bee and Eflite P-47D 1.2m Kansas Tornado; were all painted with Chromate Silver spray paint to add metallic otherworldly effects and hot glued to the main hull.  The main hull itself was coated with white spray paint to reduce complications in painting and cosmetic efforts.

The USS War Cry has not yet been flown yet but the maiden flight will happen sometime in 2019.  Weather permitting her vertical wall-like structures require very light wind to zero wind conditions to operate; which is why she is decorated with an abundance of LED lights for night operations when winds tend to be calm or nonexistent.   In the video at time stamp 3:11 you can see she had some issues turning during taxi with the wind hitting the cross section of the port side near the bow of the USS War Cry.
