Who Said Pigs don't fly

by boarding pass | June 1, 2013 | (3) Posted in Just Fun

This build was inspired by the Flite Test guys, i have used some of their techniques to build wings and adapted the shape to something like the wings i have on my balsa model (sbach 342) i also wanted to have some fun with it so i had my wife help me with the shape of the fuselage. so she is responsible for the shape and the artwork. It was great fun to build together even though she does not fly.

The power system is a turnigy G10 810 KV motor A HK 50A red brick ESC & a tunigy nanotech 3300 3s batt. with a spectrum orange RX & 11x7 apc prop. wing span of 1200mm.

all work well with this build but i get wing flutter at the higher air speed. Any sugestions to remidy this?

the video may not be too great but it was fun to produce I hope you enjoy it.

yeah I know, I'm a bit of a power hog!!! i like to be able to fly in the wind without having to struggle. I lost my plane too many times trying to fly when the wind was a bit too much for my setup. its fun in the calm conditions too. I can outrun my flying buddies!
