I'm Frank Locan Reading, a 16 year old nerdy type (cool nerd subtype) from Christchurch (Quake City) down in New Zealand, which most of the world apparently thinks is a small island which is part of Australia or a mythical land where elves and Uruk-hai do battle. I've grown up in this fine city since I was a young child and attended the Christchurch Rudolf Steiner School (where we DEFINITELY DON'T GROW GANJA IN THE GARDEN ^-^) ever since. I've always been into nerdy stuff, been a hardcore PC gamer since I was 9 and always loved science and facts and knowledge. I started RC flying around what I think was my 12th birthday when my brother bought me a slope soarer for my birthday (and one for himself) and we had some good fun flying and fighting them until one day we decided to go flying when there was literally a cloud enveloping the hill we were on, reducing visibility to a few meters. I snapped the wing off on a power pole and fried all the electronics somehow (probably the mist) and couldn't get my second glider working, leading me to give up the hobby for a few years. Now, in 2013, my friends have gotten into the powered RC hobby and I have followed them with extreme enthusiasm, buying a Bixler 2 and already plotting my next hit of gear and drawing my own scratch build plans. I watch FliteTest religiously (though I am in fact an outspoken religious skeptic) and love the production values of the show and the general amazing quality material the boys put out. Good stuff, FliteTest crew!
