Besides flying model aircraft by RC LOS, FPV, autonomous missions I enjoy hiking, backpacking, packrafting, mountaineering, backcountry skiing, and general wilderness exploration.

When I was in college I switched from studying mechanical engineering to geology, which was an awesome career move...I've had the privilege and fun to study and protect wild places in our National Parks for over 10 years. The engineer in me still enjoys tinkering though and hence I really enjoy the model aircraft hobby. Being able to explore the earth from above on an affordable budget (compared to full-size aircraft) is great!
