I am a biologist by training. My focus is on animal locomotion and biomimetics. During my PhD research, I gained experience in experimental fluid dynamics, flow measurement techniques and with micro air vehicles. My micro air vehicles are a hobby project. Everything is designed from scratch (software, hardware, electronics, frames). They perform very well in aerobatics ("acro mode"), but it can also hover on their own ("hover mode").
