I loved the RC hobby at first sight. After buying parts that didn't work even though all my calculations with my motor, ESC, and battery were correct all of my parts burnt out. (Except the battery and RX). I bought parts from Aeromicro and flitetest and my first scratchbuilt the FT22 flew. I then moved to the nutball, and now my favorite to fly, the FT flyer. All my airplanes are scratch builds, and I have only built swappables. (except the FT22 which i screwed the motor off of). FliteTest is a huge part of why I love this hobby.
