Basketball, Soccer, RC (duh) Cars

I am new to the hobby, and am my club's (smac-ky.com) youngest member (14) i want to get more into it but some things confuse me. I have an Apprentice S15 E, but i want a Versacopter (FPV) SOOO bad. The More i know about it, the easier it will be to make it reasonable. I you can help me find helpful articles, i will be very thankful.
